About the League

History

The Union of non-governmental organizations “The Ukrainian Amateur Radio League” (UNGO “UARL”) was founded in December of 2015.

The League is a member of the EURAO (European Radio Amateurs’ Organization).

Currently, there are about 1500 members in the League, representing most regions and cities of Ukraine.

Operating from Ukraine

License

Foreign visitors must hold a HAREC/NOVICE certificate, or a CEPT license to be able to operate from Ukraine during a short-term visit (less then three months). Just prefix your callsign with “UR/” (“Uniform Romeo”).  For a longer stay, govermnental fees may apply.

Frequencies

Please make sure that your are following the frequency allocation table listed in the “Regulations of the Radio Amateur Communications of Ukraine” (table 7 of the Annex 2).
